The use of solid fuels for cooking can contribute to indoor air pollution and respiratory diseases, posing health risks to those exposed to them on a daily basis. To address these challenges, the Rwandan government and various organizations have been promoting the adoption of cleaner cooking technologies, such as LPG stoves and solar cookers, to reduce the reliance on traditional fuels and mitigate the negative impacts on health and the environment. By embracing modern cooking technology and transitioning towards more sustainable cooking practices, Rwanda is not only improving the way meals are prepared but also paving the way for a greener and healthier future.
